Hi guys! I hope you have had a lovely week; we’ve been having some glorious weather down here in Sussex, and I was also lucky enough to attend my brother-in-laws wedding yesterday. Overall, a very good week!
And now, to top it all off, I get to show you all the next granny square in this CAL. This granny square will feature the puff stitch, one of my favourite textured stitches.
Happy crafting!
Abigail
CAL – Part 2
Granny square – Puff stitch

All crochet patterns and terms I use are in UK, but if you want them in US then check out this handy stitch converter.
Materials:
- Double Knit yarn in two different colours – I used stylecraft in khaki and grass green
- 5.5mm hook
Skills used/required:
- Puff stitch
- Double crochet
- Foundation chain
- half treble crochet
- Crocheting with two yarns
For this granny square, I will be working both dk yarns together to create a textured colour; if you want to only work in one colour I advise you either work with an aran/ worsted weight yarn, or work with two identically coloured dk weight yarns to achieve a square of 12cm.

If all of the charts look like gobbledy-gook, I promise I will do a tutorial on these in the next few weeks!
