Well guys, its another sunday, so here is another square! I decided to do another stitch sampler square today, as I think I have come up with my own stitch fairly recently! I have called it the equals square, as it looks like an equals sign.
Let’s get crocheting!
CAL – Part 25
Granny Square – Equals square
All crochet patterns and terms I use are in UK, but if you want them in US then check out this handy stitch converter.
- DK yarn in various colours – I’m still using Stylecraft DK yarn that I got in my order from Deramores =D
- 4.5mm hook
- Embroidery or Darning needle ( for weaving in ends )
Final square = 12cm
For this square I used two strands of DK to make a more textured colour square.
Row 0: fdc 19 stitches.
Row 1: ch 3, 9 equals stitches. (9 stitches total)
Row 2-10: Repeat row 1. (9 stitches total)
Row 11: Dc in each stitch across. (18 stitches total)
Finish off with dc in each stitch all the way around.
