Hi Guys!

I wish February had a few more days! I told myself one blog a month though, so here I am! It’s not a big one, as a lot is happening right now, but I have patterns planned for next month πŸ™‚ But for now, let me tell you what I’ve been working on.

Stash busting heaven

Hi guys,

It’s been a while! I’ve made a resolution to write at least one blog post a month again, as I do miss writing down my patterns and my thoughts.

My first post of the year is a simple one; first I will recommend some of my favourite stash busting patterns, and then I will share the “pattern” I used for the above blanket. It has no defined pattern as such, no set size and no required yarns; just stash yarn of any colour(s), an appropriate sized hook and some tea to get the job done! πŸ™‚

Let’s get crocheting,

Abigail

Nobbly Pumpkin Pattern

This post may contain affiliate links, for which I may earn a small commission from if you make a purchase. This will not affect the price you pay. See our disclosure policy for more information.

Hi Guys!

It’s been a while! It’s been a busy few months lately, and what with Covid lockdowns I have been focused on other things, but I am back, and I have a few new patterns to share! The first one is my new nobbly pumpkin pattern; I came up with it one evening, trying to think of ways to use my Scheepjes Stonewashed-Riverwashed Pack.

This pattern uses two of these little 10g yarn skeins for the pumpkin body, and then a final skein for the pumpkin top. This pattern is remarkably quick to whip up, and the texture is just fantastic! Lastly, this pattern, unlike other pumpkin patterns, doesn’t require you to work around the pumpkin with a yarn strand to create the segmented look; the texture does that on its own!

So without further ado, let’s get crocheting!

Hi Guys!

I know it’s been a while, but after finishing our year long CAL I really wanted to take a good rest so that I was ready for our new challenge. I’m still thinking of a suitable project to work on this year, but until then I thought I would do a two part tutorial on how to make a giant blanket as I did a course to make one the other day and since then I’ve been hooked!

So if you’d like a completely instagrammable/ envy of all your friends blanket, then look no further! In just a few hours you’ll have a gorgeous blanket to hide under during these winter months.

Hi Guys!

Today is the last part of our CAL! I can’t believe it! I will still drop in now and again with pictures of this beauty and maybe different squares to add to the blanket if you wish, but apart from that it will all be over. I want to wish you guys a big thankyou for following me on this journey and for crocheting along with me, and I do hope you like your final blanket too!

Happy crocheting,

Hi Guys!

You read correctly! We should have a fully formed blanket now and just working on the border! I am releasing two border versions, with next weeks going a bit fancier if you can wait that long! But either way these blankets are going to look beautiful!

Happy crocheting!
