Hi guys,

It’s been a while! I’ve made a resolution to write at least one blog post a month again, as I do miss writing down my patterns and my thoughts.

My first post of the year is a simple one; first I will recommend some of my favourite stash busting patterns, and then I will share the “pattern” I used for the above blanket. It has no defined pattern as such, no set size and no required yarns; just stash yarn of any colour(s), an appropriate sized hook and some tea to get the job done! 🙂

Hi Guys!

I know it’s been a while, but after finishing our year long CAL I really wanted to take a good rest so that I was ready for our new challenge. I’m still thinking of a suitable project to work on this year, but until then I thought I would do a two part tutorial on how to make a giant blanket as I did a course to make one the other day and since then I’ve been hooked!

So if you’d like a completely instagrammable/ envy of all your friends blanket, then look no further! In just a few hours you’ll have a gorgeous blanket to hide under during these winter months.

Hi guys, Abi here. I hope you are having a wonderfully sunny Sunday, the weather is gorgeous here!

Since I started crocheting back in 2015, I have always loved to take part in CALs. For those of you who are bombarded daily with acronyms and can’t immediately make a guess (me included!), CAL stands for Crochet ALong. The idea behind them is that the pattern is released in parts, allowing fellow crocheters to work on the same project whilst making new crafty friends all around the world.

So, as this blog is just a little fledgling at the minute, I thought it would be a nice idea to do a CAL, but with a few exceptions. I plan to release a new granny square pattern every Sunday; at the end of the year, I will release a post making all our little squares into a lovely new blanket ready for Christmas snuggling!
