Hi Guys!

It’s been a while! It’s been a busy few months lately, and what with Covid lockdowns I have been focused on other things, but I am back, and I have a few new patterns to share! The first one is my new nobbly pumpkin pattern; I came up with it one evening, trying to think of ways to use my Scheepjes Stonewashed-Riverwashed Pack.

This pattern uses two of these little 10g yarn skeins for the pumpkin body, and then a final skein for the pumpkin top. This pattern is remarkably quick to whip up, and the texture is just fantastic! Lastly, this pattern, unlike other pumpkin patterns, doesn’t require you to work around the pumpkin with a yarn strand to create the segmented look; the texture does that on its own!

So without further ado, let’s get crocheting!

Happy Sunday all! It’s gorgeous weather here so I’m trying to make this post brief so I can take Jasper out to enjoy it whilst it lasts!

I plan on releasing a Granny Square CAL page soon so we can all easily see which squares are released and when the next square is due, but for now, this is part 5 of our CAL – a lovely Flower in a square. This square utilities the puff stitch which we learnt in a previous lesson, and it is also similar to our first square.

I hope you guys like this pretty little square, and as always,

Happy crafting!

St Patrick Square – GSG 4

Shammy square!

Happy St Patrick’s day everyone! I love seeing everyone wearing hints of green, especially in this lovely almost spring weather we’ve been experiencing lately. I created a small pop quiz for my friends the other day, in which I put some St Patrick’s day trivia in; did you know that the first city to celebrate St Patrick’s day was Boston, and that Chicago dyes their river green in celebration! If you guys have any traditions that you want to share please feel free to write a comment = )

As today is our next CAL, I thought we should incorporate something with a St Patrick’s theme. I thought of doing a Guinness coloured square, but then I settled on four leaf clovers, as they are a symbol of luck, and they would look lovely in a nice square.

So, let’s get clover-ing!

Hi Guys! I hope you have been having a lovely weekend =) I’ve been on courses for work all week, from resilience training to lateral thinking. Hopefully they’ll provide useful for both work and future crochet patterns alike!

This week I wanted to make a granny square with a circle in the middle, as it’s useful for when making crochet flowers into squares ready for a blanket. Hopefully you all will approve. I intend to release a How To on crocheting in a circle, which should provide useful for this square.

The pattern is fairly simple, but still produces a lovely square, so without any further ado…
